If you are discouraged, anxious, or could just use some encouraging news, this blog is for you!

I share valuable lessons learned through my faith and experiences while coping as an anxious introvert in a predominantly extrovert culture.

I’m hoping to brighten your day with some uplifting words that you can apply to your life to spark a better outlook. I’ve battled depression and anxiety for most of my life and will gladly share with you some of the helpful things I’ve picked up along the way.

Fish in tank

The fish in the picture is known for hiding in plain sight by staying still for extended periods of time. I often stay still for too long in situations that I don’t like.

I don’t plan on following this fish’s example anymore. Sometimes I’ll go over too many scenarios, decide not to act, and end up motionless like the fish. Let’s not let fear paralyze and rob us from the great experiences that life can offer.

  1. I call that “analysis paralysis,” and I have been guilty of it, too. I have been working to get beyond these types of paralyzing fears and living out the calling He has set before me as well. Nice to “meet” you along this journey to freedom! 😉
